ALWAYS EDIT YOUR WRITING

Nobody is perfect. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m constantly needing to edit my writing. In fact, the sentence that you just read, I had to edit three times! It’s kind of crazy, but it’s the truth. You may be a better writer than me and only have to edit your writing once or twice. At the end of the day it’s up to you, but I still believe it to be a unwritten rule that you should editing your writing at least one time through.

When Do I Start Editing?

In my experience, I’ve found the answer to be all of the time. Every writer has their own style, and when you start to write your own book, you’ll start to find what works best for you. Some authors like to just write their book, and at the end of it go back and edit. On the flip side, there’s authors that will write a sentence or two and then edit it then.
